| My favorite .222 loads are either 40gr. hornady v-max or nosler 40 gr.B.T. Rem.71/2primer, 28 gr. H-335 powder,This is 1 gr. over max. in the new nosler manual...so work up! I have an overall length of 2.260 for my rifles. Muzzle velocity averages 3775 fps for non-molied bullets and 3704 fps fpr mollied bullets. Or 27gr. of H-335 and a 50 gr. SpeerTNT bullet average velocity 3500 fps non-molied 3430 fps molied, seated out on the OAL. These loads are great for varmint hunting, where the excell. They have over 900 foot lbs. of energy at 100 yards....but it ain't no deer load!! |

| Why do you need "more than 900 ft/lbs @ 100ys"? |
