I hate to be a bum, but could someone give me some numbers for a load? 45 acp case, 15 grains of Lil Gun, 200 grain CLSWC, seated to approximately 1.220".

I wanted to do a QL run for you, but forgot, bu have a look at this very basic calculator for BC and trajectory: http://www.handloads.com/calc/index.html -- ok, I'm back again, and what I found was 1) there is no Lil Gun in QL. A quite recent powder burn table lists 36. Hodgdon LONGSHOT 37. Alliant 2400 38. Accurate Arms No. 9 39. NORMA R123 40. Vihtavuori N110 41. Hodgdon LIL'GUN 42. Hodgdon H110 43. Winchester 296 44. IMR, Co. IMR4227 45. Hodgdon H4227 I choose 40- N110 and 42- H110 instead. 2) I don't know details of the CLSWC bullet and chose a lead SWC of H&N instead 3) You didn't mention barrel length, so I assumed a 6" match barrel 4) I am grateful for your question because I was not aware of the huge difference between N110 and H110. 5) finally, here is the QL result: 14 gn N110 -> 17.000 psi, 1000 fps 15 gn H110 -> 12.000 psi, 870 fps Maybe the new CD version of QL includes Lil Gun. I am, as a side note, hesitant to upgrade to the CD version because NECO's upgrade fee is about $15, but here in Germany, the author Broemel asks $60 for an upgrade........

Thanks! I wasn't really sure what kind of pressure this would generate, so I didn't shoot it through an auto-loader. Instead I used a 454 Super Redhawk, 9.5" bbl. Once again, thanks.
