Did you brake the head off the back of the case?

Press a needle between the case wall and the base of the die. Stop before you get to the shoulder. The case will collapse and you can pull it out with a pair of needle-nosed pliers.

I would suggest it is probably due to actually over-Resizing the Case, each time you Resized it, or just have too many shots on those Cases.

For the first part, adjusting the Die to Partial-Full Length Resize will probably fix the situation. But, it is still a good idea to occasionally check the inside of the Cases with the old "L-Shaped" Feeler Gauge to catch Insipient Case Head Separation(ICHS) - prior to a Case Head either pulling off or a Case being blown apart during firing.

If you will be using the rifle in Dangerous Game country, then I would recommend staying with Full Length Resizing and just check the Cases for ICHS after each firing.

As far as getting the piece of the Case out, remove the Expander Stem from the Die. Then Freeze the Die over night.

The next day warm it back up and push a Bore Brush through the Case Neck and it will probably pop out. If not, use a larger Bore Brush to shove into the bottom of the Die and into the Case, then pull it out. If the Brush is w-i-d-e enough the Bristles will not reverse and get a good grip on the inside of the Case which will pull it right out.

Re-Lube the Die inside and out to protect it from rusting.

A buddy of mine has done this a couple of times. This is what I did last time. Remove the expander assembly, drill & tap the head of the case, thread a piece of all thread into the case, use something like a 1/2" drive socket the same diameter as the die, place over bottom of die with the all thread sticking through the square drive hole in the socket, use a nut & washer to pull against the the socket & pull the case from the die.
If that does not seem to work without a lot of force, you can use a punch & tap against the all thread from the other end of the dies, where the expander assembly threads are. The shock from this may knock it loose.
If you have access to a press you can just try to press it out, pushing against the all thread.

might try canned air, as in dust blower for circuits, turn the can upside down and spray into the die and stuck case. try not to spray your fingers, it's VERY COLD. it might shrink the case enough to use a brass brush to push it out.

This is the same procedure I use. It works great, the case comes right out. I use a 1/4" drill bit, and tap with a 5/16" NC.

Do you have an acetylene torch with a fine tip?

If so, remove the expander and heat a red line in the case. Take the heat away and the case will shrink and fall out. takes less time to do than to write here.

Other than that, the bubba'd way I did it long time ago was lift the edge with an awl and grind a screwdriver tip on a piece of brass brazing rod and tap it down in a couple of places, similar to what was mentioned earlier.

for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside
