I just bought some 85 gr Nosler solid base to load in my 250 sav AI. I would like to get about 3100 fps with good accuracy for foxes and maybe roedeer. Living in Denmark I'm pretty much stuck with vithavuori and norma powders.

I have no experience with this cartridge, but the 10th edition of the Handloaders Digest had a very good article with numerous powders covered, but I don't know if Vithavuori and Norma powders were included. I don't know if you could find a copy of this book in Denmark either, but if you did it would be a good reference.

I have not used many of the powders that you are requesting, but I use H- BL-C(2) 38.0gr with an 82gr berger bullet for 3025fps in my 250 improved. This is 5% over standard 250 load. I would think that you could find a burn rate on available powder and work up. I have acheaved the 3100fps with this powder, but my gun will shoot in the high 3's with the above load. Nothing yet khas noticed the 75fps, and brass life is great.
