Forming 30/404 Brass

Gentlemen,

I've had several enquiries about how to form brass for this wildcat.

From left you can see the parent 404 case, next to it are 3 cases necked down in stages of .400, .370 and .340 bushings.

Next one has been trimmed for our chamber, next you see one which has been neck turned, a loaded round to be fireformed, and finally a fireformed case.

We used the Sierra 168 MK bullet - what else? and 20 grains of Green Dot. The reason for using the 168 MK is because we have thousands of them.

Saeed,

What 404 brass do you find works best for you. I prefer RWS but its hard to get at present.

RJW,

I have used RWS before, but these are Norma.

They seem to be very good.
