Redding or RCBS. Any on-line retailer will have to order those in special.

Brad, Either know your chamber specifications or send fired cases from the chamber to the die manufacturer for them to check against their .500 Jeff deminsions.

If you need a copy of the CIP specs, PM or e-mail me and I'll mail a copy of the diagrams to you. Go with the CIP specs because that is where most of the brass will come from. The C.I.P. specs have been stable for a very long time now.

That is Buddy the Wonder Dog. He does an amazing job of evaluating coochie. I don't know why the big picture didn't upload. I'll work on that tomorrow.

To The Group FYI I need a set of 500 Jeffery Dies. Could you please confirm that your reloading dies are built on the May 15th 2002 C.I.P. specifications. I want to avoid the 500 Schuler configuration that some dies are based on. Also do you have these in stock? Are they available in the TiN coated version? Thanks Brad Brad, They are. The CIP drawing was taken from the 1928 Kynoch drawing. We also make dies for the 12.7 Schuler which is similar but not the same. I am not at the shop right now but the computer says they are in stock. TiN coat is available. I can't imagine anyone shooting a 500 Jeffery enough to worry about die wear but the reduction in friction would make case sizing easier. Dave info@ch4d.com

new-guy, Up until my recent post regarding the .500 Schuler/Jeffery I thought the CIP 2000 spec was most current. Now, I'm trying to figure out where I got that information The CIP May 15, 2002 Dated dimensions are most current. I'm very interested in the .500 Schuler/Jeffery so I'm still researching.

CH4D dies suck, my 500 J seater had to be reamed out as it was sized 0.505". Now if they can't even properly machine the seater, I have a hard time believing they are clear on the various chamber dimensions and that you'll get a die that is the same as your chamber. __________________________________________________ The AR series of rounds, ridding the world of 7mm rem mags, one gun at a time.
