So my first 416 Rigby reload is a little deper than the cannelure on the Hornady SP. So I grab my Quinetics bullet puller, and...Ooppps! 416 Rigby doesn't come close to fitting! I want the brass, the bullet I can live without...

You need a collet type puller. RCBS and Hornady both make these.

Won't hurt the bullet either. I would use the collet to just pull the bullet to the cannelure or just a little more and re-seat to where you want them, then go shooting.

Remove the die from your press.
Place the cartridge in the shellholder, run the Ram to the top of its travel.
Grab the bullet with a set of pliers.
Brace the pliers on the top of the press and lower the ram.
The bullet may or may not get marked up depending on haw careful you are and tight the case grips it.
