<rio12345>.270 Weatherby
Ok another question.
I also have a .270 Weatherby and I am looking for some loads for this gun. I am going to use 130 grain XBT's or Partitions. I loaded some with IMR 4350 and some with Reloader 22. Neither grouped very well so anyone have any other ideas.
This is all new to me so I have to ask questions. Thanks in advance.

<Don Krakenberger>I had a .270 that was a so-so shooter with most everything I tried. Then I got some 140 swift a frames and fueledthem up to 3330 with 7828--became a tack driver. I've also loadedthem down to 3100 for wis whitetail and the accuracy stayed excellent.

sllI get good results with 70 grains of H1000 and a 140 gr. XBT in a .270 Weatherby that I load for.The 140 gr. XBT grouped better than the 130 grain.

T300WbyMagTry IMR7828 or RL25 powder, both work Great for the 270Wby...
Good Luck!
Try Federal 215 primers too

<1LoneWolf>IMR 4831 has given me terrfic results in both accuracy and velocity.
7828 should be good too.
But I would go to 4831, it is sort of the foul proof powder for the 270 WBY.
