Does anybody have any loading data for this one. I'm interested in 296, Unique, and HS-6 for any bullet weight from 375 to 440. Just got my FA and I am having trouble finding much loading data. TIA

couple of my favorite loads are the 400 grain bullets with 27 grains of 296 or for a midrange load try 14.5 grains of hs6 With the 420s I use 26 grains of 296 and 14 grains of hs6 also 16 grains of hs7 with the 400s for a light load try 10 grains of unique with any bullet. A very accurte load in my gun is 25 grains of 4227 with the 400s

You should check out sixgunner.com, you'll have to root around, but there are articles on the 475. Also check out the favorite load forums, as I have 480 loads that are a good starting point for the 475.

One thing to note, the original 475 linebaugh and bullets were .40" from the crimp groove to the meplat, whereas bullets for the 475 FA are .37" due to the shorter cylinder. There have also been some variance in brass. So, beware that some original 475 data may be too hot for the FA.
