Just opened a new sealed case of Federal SP primers. Was loading primer tubes and when I opened the fourth packet noticed there were only 93 primers in the packet.

Have loaded literally 100's of thousands of primers and never had a missing primer ever.

Must be the rush to make up for the recent component shortages. Hope they remembered to put anvils in the cups.

Seriously, I don't usually check for that problem in my practice ammo except for a quick glance in the tray. For my serious stuff I do tend to check thoroughly.

Think I might have to pay more attention to my personal QC to compensate for manufacturer problems.
