Roll Eyes55gr Balistic tip moly 25gr. 2230-C 10 shot 3/4" group 50 yds.

55gr. psp Mid South bulk, 6 shot 3/4"grp.50 yds
But that's as good as this rifle shoots.

another rifle; 55gr. psp bulk 25gr. 2230-C 3 shot 1/4" group at 50 yds.

There are a small number of us using this and having good results in many rifles of different calibers. With light loads it gets a little sooty.

Just a point of interest. I was testing some 55gr sp, PMP manufacture ammo in my 12bvss-ss 223. Cold barrel first 3 shots 1/4" group at 50 yds.The 20 shot group you could cover with a quarter. Less than $20.00/100. What a surprise! thumbroger

Thanks fellows what I amtrying to judge is how much more I can go in grains.I tried 27 grs yesterday and there was no pressure signs. As good as the 27 grs shot I may not need to go any higher.
Steve you have 28.5 grs, accurate has 25 grs, speer has 26 grs.Is there a slower burning rate for the 2230-C as to the aa2230?I have not tried the aa2230 but have used the 2230-c for years.
These are some results I have gotten from the 2230-c last year @100 and 200 yds and yesterdays results. The range I use is 25 miles away so I just load up 3 rounds to try at a time with different powder charge or bullets.I shoot one to three days a week so don't have to wait too long to try something else.

2230-C is all I use in my AR15. Cheap-shooots very good, and for $60 for 8 pounds how can you go wrong.
