Bullets and Powder for 7mm Rem Mag and 7mm-08
Just starting to reload for my rifles. Hoping I can avoid having to by different powders and bullets to start, is there a 140gr. bullet and powder combination that will work well in both calibers? If not, I am starting with the 7 mag and would like suggestions on a good load for whitetail deer and pigs.

Thanks in advance

I have never loaded for a 7RemMag. The 708 should work well with IMR4064 and Hornady 139 Interlock bullet, as this made a one ragged hole shooter out of my daughter's Rem. Model 7.

I have both and load the 7-08 with 140's and the 7 Rem Mag with 160's and use R22 or H4831SC in the mag....Varget and IMR4350 in the 7-08.....But IMR4350 will work in both very good.

that is hard to do. i have shot both, but if you need one powder it would be 4350.. both shooting the 140s.. i dont shoot this powder in either one. i like RL-15 IN MY 7-08, and IMR-4831 TO RL-22 IN THE 7MM-REM MAG.. 4350 has a max load of 46.0 at 95% density in the 7-08 with the 140..the 7mm-rem mag.. has a max load of 65grs.4350 . at 83% density
