Am I the only person here with a drawer full of mic. bullets that where purchased to test or try and now never use due to better results with other brands/weights/profils?

Would any of you be itnerested in listing the unused bullets/qty. for trading with others that might like said bullets?

Just and Idea. If enough of you want to do this I will post my stock.

The trades would be strickty in agrement bettewn the individuals.

Semper Fi and Safe Hunting.

It is fine with me but 2 guys shipping small lots eats up any value. You might be better off to sell them.

It's a great idea.....I'm like a lot of reloaders and I must have a couple hundred pounds of bullets to share and trade. Unfortunately the postage and handling is a serious burden for many exchanges.

Fjold tried to get something going a while back and I'm surprised he didn't chime in.

If bullets was $2 each this would fly like a swan.....but at $.14 it's not practical as we'd wish.

I have 3 shelves of bullets, most of which I use but a lot of the were ones I tried that did not perform the way I thought they would. everything from 17>458. My selection would probably make some reloading shops blush.

I had to edit. Don't even ask me about powders. I have told my neighbors if they see my house burning just evacuate the hood.

I keep all my extra bullets, primers, cases and casting lead in the laundry room. Gives the "Physco Bitch from Hell" something to complain about when she visits me!

I've got a good supply of Herter 22, 24 and 25 cal bullets left. Some 30 cal Herter bullets, a couple boxes of very very old Hornady 30 cal 180gr spire points (you'd have to see these to believe them). And I have about 30,000 primers at last count. I've got new CCI, CCI in the old cardboard box with wood dividers, some old western 8 1/2's, new wim LRP, and a life time supply of Herter 120's. I gave away about 10,000 old military surplus primers.

I also have a suitcase full of Super Balistite powder. Burns about the same as Bullseye and I use it in a 32 long. I also have an 8# can (metal) of pistol powder #6 that works well in my 38's.

Rather than get rid of these priceless heirlooms, I got rid of the "Physco Bitch from Hell"!!!!!!!!!

Actually I did do some swaps earlier even sending bullets to Alaska. I swapped some Barnes solids and miscellaneous 375 bullets and the postage was $4 or so for 20 bullets.

It saved me from buying a box of Barnes 270 grain TSX for $30 + shipping because my 375 doesn't like them near as much as the 300 grainers.

Use post office flat rate envelopes and boxes - you can ship like 40 lbs or more for $8.10 anywhere in US.
