How much difference will the 160 vs the 150 Nos Partition make on Elk? I am shooting the 270 WSM. I understand good shot placement is key, but is bigger always better?

Whichever of the two your rifle shoots best is the one I'd go with. Ten grains of bullet weight in this instance will have little bearing on actual terminal performance, and either one is easily capable of doing the job if placed in the correct spot.

150 would be my first choice. But whichever prints best overall groups is the one I'm taking on the hunt.

I always load the 160 just because I like the SMP shape better than a Spire Point....I think it penetrates and mushrooms better than the SPs....

But the extra 10 grains or the lack of the extra 10 grains isn't going to make any real world difference...

YOU can't go wrong with either choice.....
