I am new to loading the 375, but am looking to use the 260 Accubond. Any suggestions on Powders? I am looking a H4350 to start my testing, thanks

I use Rl15 behind the CombinedTech 270gr. Works great in my rifle. 4350 would be a good place to start as well. As usual just my $.02 Paul K

Recently loaded up a bunch of the 260's in my pre 64 375. Load was 80 gr H4350 with no pressure signs in my rifle. Getting close to max I think. Work up as usual.

Then you're looking pretty good.....lots of powders work here....Any of the 4350s will be a good starting place. IMR 4064 will be another one to try if you like. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." RL-15 is what I use, but then I shoot 300 grainers mostly.

I use AA4350 with 300 and 350 gr bullets. I am at compressed loads with them (79 and 77.5 gr) andare just at the velocity and pressure. I've not found the 4350 powders to give apparopriate velocity/pressure with lighter bullets. I've found Varget to be very good with 260-285 gr bullets giving velocities in the 2700 - 2600 fps range with appropriate pressures in the 55-58,000 psi(M43). 4064 and 4895 do well with the lighter bullets also. If you like ball powders consider H414/WW760, you should also get a full case with no compression. By memory, older reloading books show a max of about 78 plus grains, for 300 grain bullets. It burns cleaner than I thought and measures easy. Time to wake up eveyone for Mass!!

Your on the right track. H4350 works very well for me in the 375 H&H.

My 375 prefers IMR4350 with the lighter bullets and loves IMR4064 with the heavier bullets. I load for two .375s, a Sako and a Interarms Whitworth. I've worked up loads with the Sierra and Nosler 300grs and the Hornady 270. My limited experience would say that this caliber shoots well with most any powder. I've shot great groups with 4064, 4320, 4350, and R-15. But my favorite is WW-760--it is accurate, gives top velocity, and meters through the powder measure nicely. IMR4320 would be a close second and the top powder with the Hornady 270gr. I use RL-15 with both 270 and 300 gr. bullets and it works great.
