Just wondering.
Bill

My Forster press will handle these, biggest I have reloaded on it is 500-3 1/4".

I don't like the fact that case prep on top of the Hornady press will result in brass shavings etc falling down over the press...

Well I have loaded on a Forster. The question was on the Hornady.

Bill, point taken!

According to Hornady the Iron press is 4.05" between the shellholder and bottom of press (I think that they mean that is the gape).

The Forster is a little over that I think due to the shellholder plate setup.

Hopes this helps.

Cheers,

Chris
