My Forster press will handle these, biggest I have reloaded on it is 500-3 1/4". I don't like the fact that case prep on top of the Hornady press will result in brass shavings etc falling down over the press... DRSS | |||

Bill, point taken! According to Hornady the Iron press is 4.05" between the shellholder and bottom of press (I think that they mean that is the gape). The Forster is a little over that I think due to the shellholder plate setup. Hopes this helps. Cheers, Chris DRSS | |||
