JKuczmarski,

If you find any PLEASE let me know. I have been looking for light weight 9.3 mm bullets (under 250 grains) with no success other than Hawk. Maybe we can work a deal on importing some [Confused] .

I tried Grafs who supposedly are the U. S. distributor for Norma products and was told that they don't special order Norma reloading components. So much for good customer service!

I've also emailed Hawk twice inquiring about some custom made 9.3mm 235 grain Spitzers, but no reply so far.

I don't have very good luck!

I am villing to offer my services to you guys and buy the bullets privatly and then ship them to you.
There is of cours some problems surrounding a thing like this but if there is a will there is a way right!!

So if the interest is still there dont hesitate to write back.

That is very kind but be careful. Sweden may have munitions export laws that you might inadvertently violate, although it seems to be perfectly legal for a private person in the U.S. to order bullets (not ammo) from abroad for personal use.

Thank you 500grains for the heads up but no there is no such laws here in sweden, the only things relating to shooting that are heavily regulated are handguns and full autos-permitts othervise most things are ok.

All,

Below is an email that I just sent to Hornady. I've asked them to consider making a lighter weight 9.3mm bullet suitable for deer hunting. I'd be surprised if they didn't already have something on the drawing board as the 9.3x62 is gaining in popularity.

I'll pass on the Vulcan's for now.

Hornady,

The 9.3x62 Mauser cartridge is becoming modestly popular in the U. S., but the availability of domestically produced 9.3mm diameter bullets is lacking. Of the major U. S. bullet makers, only Speer, Nosler and Barnes make them and all of those are 250 grains and greater in weight. Since a lot of these 9.3x62's will undoubtedly be used for deer hunting, I would think that there would be a market for a lighter 9.3mm bullet. Something along the lines of 230 grains w/a sectional density of 0.248 would be about right (Norma makes one of 231 or 232 grains, but they can't be had in the States). Thanks for listening!

Regards, Joe Kuczmarski
