PC,

I suppose people would say that the 500 45 has enough anyway.

I am thinking more of our light game and a rapid expanding front end that maintains high speed through the animal so that the opposite side looks like crocodile bite territory.

On that note, I am heading to bed.

to make some bullet I use another ways than
Copper tubing or draw jacket I use the first way use by Nosler :

I make my jacket on a screw lathe with method as follow

I turn a jacket square base flat end bore with just a bigger diameter ( 0.001 of inch ) to my finish caliber and with the lenght I need

After I anneal these jacket .

I draw in a sizer to get my finish diameter

deburr the jacket and get a jacket ready to fill with lead ( bonded or not )

Bu lathe turning I can get the thickness I need , taperead inside , solid base .... without any tooling cost except cost of custom drill and custom raemer for tapered jacket .

easy and cheap way

another way mote fun is to use empty case from 7.62x39 draw in a sizer and remove the rim by lathe turning to ger a bevel base .

use low cost Berdan case in brass you can get thousand for a penny on range shooting .

good shooting

Croc bite territory [Big Grin]

I found that the Taipan .416's perfromed that role well.

Someone, [Big Grin] please make a selection of .20cal (.204) bullets. I think they would sell well for the .20tac or .20PPC cartridges.
