From what I have read there are rifles out there but the lid is on their performance until the shot show.

Winchester has the rifles and cartridge featured on their site and the factory load data is published.

I made a guess that the 243 WSSM would hold 62 grs of water before the 28 degree shoulder was announced.

One of the claims is "bench rest accuracy".

I like the size of the M70 Classic in that caliber with it's 13.25 LOP, 22" bbl and 6 lb weight. I might get one, might not.

Right now I have a lot of rifles to play with.

Have you heard which primer they are using in the .223 or .243, large or small?

Don't recall whether the ad in Feb-G&A issue gave the specs on them or not,but do recall the .223WSSM can expect 200 fps faster than the .22-250,.243WSSM about 200 fps faster than the .243 Win. both with the same bullet weights.
