I'd be reluctant to load down that far with Alliant 2400. As a general rule I won't load a case with rifle powder unless it's 70% full. People argue about whether very reduced rifle powder loads are dangerous - enough people so that I don't want to be the one to settle the argument!
I'd suggest the 140 gr bullet with 13 gr. of Hodgdon Universal. I have used Universal successfully in .308 and .416 for reduced loads.
I used a computer program (QuickLoad) to arrive at the 13gr. load. Peak pressures are below 30,000 PSI and the speed is 1900 fps.

My light load is 10.0 gr. of Red Dot behind the Remington 158 gr. SJHP for 1400 fps. Anything lighter is inconsistent. WLR primer, R-P case, Marlin 336 w/ 20" bbl.
Love those 35 Remingtons!
