I know it is not reloading but didn't know where to put this, my question is what is the difference in 124 gr. FMJ Wolf 7.62x39 ammo(black box) and 124 gr. FMJ Wolf Military Classic 7.62x39 ammo(Grayish looking box)?

I'm going to guess the Classic stuff is brass-cased and boxer primed. Most Wolf is steel and cannot be reloaded. For answers to all your 7.62 x 39 questions, email Roger Cope at Cope's Distributing. He knows everything about Comm-bloc weapons and ammo.

Well, us reloaders do know alot of details about various ammos.

The Classic, is the Laquored steel cases.
The grey box is the new polymor coated steel cases.

That's called Wolf GOLD, and I believe alot of it is made by Pvri. Reports on it are very good. I have a brick of their .22 Match Gold that was made in Germany. It's the best shooting .22 LR I've found.

I also have some of the Wolf Match Extra and that is about the most accurate 22 lr ammo I have ever had. Someone told me that it is made in Germany.

Wolf 22 RF ammo is made in Germany, and the Wolf Centerfire ammo is made in Russia, and maybe other places I don't know about.
Their 22 ammo is among the best available. It's made by Lapua AG, on the same machines that SK Standard Plus ammo uses.
I've been shooting the Wolf Match Target 22 ammo for 10 years, sorting it by weight and rim thickness. Doing the sorting yields accuracy close to the high end Eley and Lapua ammo.
I would think that sorting Wolf Match Target gets its accuracy about equal to Wolf Match Extra, which is more expensive that the MT.

I've shot the Wolf Gold in my Schmidt Rubin. My report is that it is excellent ammo and reloadable to boot.
