I just brought home a .270 WSM. I also bought some 90 grain TNT's for coyotes. I have some IMR 4064 and IMR 4320, but the IMR powder website does not list loads with bullets less than 130 grains. Does anybody know where I can find loading data with the components I have?

You can use 270 Win data.

Speer data

Also the Powley formula will work with that combo.

Check the Hodgdon website data for the .270wsm for Varget powder. It is very close to IMR-4064 in burn rate. Be sure to start low and work up gradually. I tried some 90 gr bullets (Speer TNT and Sierra HP) with Varget. I only went up to 58.0 gr (Sierra's data shows 60.5 as max) and got pretty good accuracy. I liked IMR-4350 better, though for the light bullets.

Bullets are pretty worthless. All they do is hang around waiting to get loaded.

I don't recall the charge off-hand, but I loaded some 90 grain Sierra HPs using Varget for my Dad's .270 WSM. 59.0 grains sounds right, but don't quote me on it. Accuracy was quite good with this combination.

The Hodgdon website is where you want to look.

Steve: I recently loaded some 90 gr. Sierra HP's with 67.5 gr. of H-414 and WRLM primers that shot around 3/4" out of my NULA 270 WSM. Also tried 70 gr. of RL-19 that shot 1". These were my first attempts with bullets this light for predators.
