Lautenburg is retiring, but not soon enough. Like rats from a sinking ship he's leaving in hopes that the last 5 years won't stick to he record. Like the rest of the recent retirees from congress.

I'd say I'm sorry for having him in our state, but he only maintains an office here. He's lived in NYC for the last 10-15 years. I guess you don't need a background check for the Senate.
