i have not tried this with brass but it worked on a coffee pot, i put or tablespoons of powdered dishwashing soap in it and it turned it on and it cleaned the inside up to the water line,2 or 3 tablespoons

Anyone got an easy way to get the black stuff off the fired cases? I shoot alot of 223 Rem through my AR15 and after tumbling for hours, there is still black residue on the cases. Got to be an easy way to remedy this.

I usually have a little black around the neck on some of my cases. When I trim them with the Lee trimmer chucked in my variable speed drill, I'll polish them using some steel wool.
