All I can do is provide you with the load data out of the Barnes Manual I have. I don't have nor shoot a .300 Win. Mag.

H-4831 SC (same as H-4831)
Min. = 65.0 gr. for 2716 fps.
Max. = 72.0 gr. for 2944 fps.

Barnes recommends that you seat bullets about 0.050" off the lands and check accuracy. Then adjust seating depth accordingly tofind the sweet spot. Hope this helps some & good luck.

I load H4831 for my 300 Win Mag and the load I use is above that listed in the Barnes manual.

My velocity is an actual over the chronograph of 3050 fps with a Nosler BT or Accubond.

If you choose to increase your load due so looking for pressure signs and it will surprise you how much H4831 and be loaded with great accuracy.
