I'd be much appreciative if someone could give me the following data (charge weights and velocities) for the .270 Win.:

130-grain SST with H4831
140-grain Interlock with H4831
140-grain Interlock with Reloder 22

Feel free to either post it here or e-mail it to me. Many thanks, in advance.

Thanks, Steve. I appreciate you taking the time. Now, that IS H4831 you listed, and not IMR 4831, right?

RSY,

I have the 4th edition, so no SST info. Here is what I have:

130gr Intlk H4831 53.6/2700 59.6/3000
140gr Intlk H4831 51.6/2600 57.5/2900

140gr Intlk/ RL22--Sorry not listed in the 4th edition.

I routinely use 60 grs. of H4831 for any 130 gr. bullet and 59 grs. for 150 gr. bullets...Have for years...I seriously doubt that you can get enough 4831 into a 270 case to stiffen the bolt lift...it will push the bullets forward and they won't feed, first...

Unless I'm into my stash of old surplus 4831 then I cram in 62 grs. and things really start cooking with that old Jack O'Conner load....
