LC Match brass is excellent. One bonus is that you are just about assured that it didn't come out of a machine gun, even if you're buying it from an unknown surplus source (unlike most once fired military brass). Not sure on a value, maybe someone else can help you out on that end. If you have access to a large supply, and the price ends up sounding right, let me know, I'd be interested in some.

the only differance is the "match" head stamp and the non-crimped in primer good but not great brass - about the same quality as Winchester comercial but NO where near the quailty of Lapua or Norma if it's free or real cheep $15-$20 per 1K and you've got time to work it up go for it. ------------------

I bought 200 mixed LC match cases a year ago at a gunshow. If I remember right it cost me $10. It is working great for forming my 7MM08 rounds. Regards Rick

LC is a bit beefier than regular commercial brass, but it's not quite as consistent. If you are loading for a gas gun (M1A), by all means use the LC because that gun is so hard on brass. If you are loading for a bolt action, you would be better served by some good quality Lapua/Norma/Federal Gold. Whatever you do, don't waste good money on Lapua/Norma brass for a gas gun. You only get 4-5 loads out them before they need to be retired. Martindog
