I am new to the forum and relatively new to reloading. Is there a guide as to the manufacturer of shells? I had some .223 shells given to me and was curious who made them.
Winchester is obvious, but who is nny, LC 06, PPU?
I am sure there are others that I am missing, but would like a reference source if it exists.
Thanks and I appreciate the insight you all provide.

I don't know if there is a guide but LC 06 means they are surplus cases originally loaded at Lake City armoury in 2006.

Here is a good site for headstamps.

LC is Lake City Army Ammunition Plant, not Armory. nny is Prvi Partizan, Uzice (Serbia & Montenegro), etc.
