What full length resizing die do you (would you) use for 300 RUM? Which dies come with a carbide expander ball? I'm searching for high quality and ease of use. Are carbide dies available that eliminate the case lubing step? If so, do they pose any disadvantage?

I have to interject my fav here...Forster BR dies are wonderful!!

I had Redding w/ my 300 UM and they were real good as well...Just not as good as my Forster's.
Especially the seating die.

BTW, look into K&M's Expander Iron, and you can throw away that expander ball forever...
I cant say enough good things about Forster and K&M..sakofan.. [Roll Eyes]

My two cents on rifle dies:
RCBS: probably the cheapest and functional.
Hornady: the best of the less expensive
Redding: a bit more money but worth it for overall quality
I haven't tried any others so I won't comment on them
