Hello folks, Anyone have real life experience with this new press from Lee. It looks really good to me but would like feedback from someone using it if possible. Thanks Enigma

I won't bore you with the details, but over the last 25-30 years, I've used nearly every press on the market. Money is not much of an object for me when it comes to reloading, so I could keep whatever I want. What press do I keep, the Lee Classic Cast. It's the best I've ever used. period.

Thanks Bobby, Money is not really an object for me either,(reloading wise anyways...) and I just wanted to confirm my thoughts about this press. I know that some people don't like Lee products at all but some of their stuff is really good. The factory crimp die is one example... Anyways I didn't post so that people could bash out and tell me not to buy Lee products since I started on a Lee and have owned many of there tools. Its pretty funny actually because my scale is a Hornady, my dies are Lee, my powder measure is RCBS... lol. I kind of buy the best of both worlds... Thanks again Bobby for your input. I'm on my way to get that press!!! Enigma

Bobby, Elaborate for me on the Lee Press. I'm a cheapskate at heart but you wouldn't know by the bizillions of dollars worth of reloading equipment on/under my bench (gawd, I hope my wife doen't read this). If it's cheap, great, I buy it. If it ain't cheap and I like it, I buy it anyway (gawd, I really hope my wife doesn't read this--I convinced her all the reloading stuff on my bench are pre-marital assets). I own 3 RCBS presses but feel the need for another press. I have read some good things about the Lee. How does it compare to the Rockchucker, RCBS jr, etc. Casey

I had good things about it to...but when I went to buy a bigger press I bought a zero (Australian Made press) there is a thread on it in the reloading forum.

I keep hearin' people say they bought a bigger press. What for? If you don't swage bullets, any good compound leverage press is all you could want. The Lee has a large opening, a primer catcher that catches every spent primer, is adjustable for throw, and right or left hand, has a great priming system, plenty of leverage, is tight and works smoothly. What more could you ask for?
