I buy the ones from Cabela's and I really like them. They have a variety of sizes and they are fairly cheap.

I make my own out of scrap lumber I get for free
I take a 2x6 and lay out the holes I want for the cases
On a cheap drill press I drill the holes clean thru
For pistol rnds I use 1x6 or thinner plywood as needed
Just pick the right size bit for the rim
I then glue and tack on 1/4" underlayment to the bottom
Sand and paint or varnish
I label the back side to what cart. it fits

I made a bunch last year for Xmas presents

Mine are from Lock Stock & Barrel. I like them a lot better than the plastic ones.

check out the 'milled' delrin ones from Sinclair, availble in a couple of different thicknesses, they ain't thin cheap plastic, and they are really solid, I've got the thick ones for everything and like them better than the wood ones....as a plus, every once in a while I throw them in the dishwasher and they are really clean again......

I have a dozen of the gray plastic ones from MTM. Have had them for years, and like Fish says when they get dirty I just toss them in the dishwasher.
