I just wanna find out what to buy -- 7mm STW or a 375 H&H ? I've got a 303 British for Bush hunting. I need something for longer distances. Here in South Africa we hunt Impala to Gemsbok to Eland over distances from 100metres to 300 metres. What do you suggest I buy ???

My plan is to buy both although I have no need for either. The guys at the gun shop confirmed my feelings that "need" has nothing to do with it. I think since i have wanted a 375 since i was in high school that would be my first buy. If you need something now for longer distances the 7STW would be great but 100-300 I think either would work fine.

What are the odds of running into something big and nasty that might either want you for dinner or to make a mud pudding out of you? Somehow, I don't think the STW would serve under those circumstances.
