Looking for CFE 223 or similar decoppering powder for a 350 Rem Mag, Hornady cases, Mag primers, 225 gr Partition. What powder load? I don't have to have a max load. The bullet will work its magic. I use the loading chart average for a max load. That means Start load plus Max load divided by two coming from a loading table. TIA and Be Well, Packy.
"CFE 223 contains our Copper Fouling Eraser ingredient, originally used in military propellant, which greatly deters copper fouling and contributes to longer periods of top accuracy with less barrel cleaning time."

I say that if you are getting copper fouling you have other problems. Sounds like a marketing ploy to sell powder to me. Perhaps I have been reloading and shooting (successfully, without the need for a special copper powder), too long. Yes, I am cynical and suspicious of new things. And usually right.

Nosler's most recent manual says IMR 4320 56 gr is their most accurate choice with the 225.
I usually load 748 with a 250 A frame (but that was years ago...), so I'm not much help. That gets me about 2500, which was Cooper's goal with the .350 RM, although he reported that his loads were long loaded.
If you really want to use one of the enduron powders or CFE, I'd get a hold of Hodgdon and let them guide you.

My point is, if you are getting copper fouling in your barrel, there is something else wrong. Just assuming that you are trying to solve a problem. As I said, I have 4 350s; been shooting them for many years with standard powders, and do not get copper fouling.

I have a 350 Rem built on a mauser 98 action. Bullets can be seated out a little further than they can be in many factory 350's. My rifle likes Rem cases CCI 250 primers with 60 grs of IMR 4320 under a 225 gr Barnes TSX. This is a max load in my rifle with the longer throat and is a real hammer.I tried a number of powders and 4320 was the most accurate .
