IIRC the Ren is a Hornet case opened up to .277? You can probably do that with 3 grains of Bullseye or there about. I suggest you reconsider your bullet choice for low-vel loads as a jacketed bullet stuck in a barrel can be a pain in the patooie. Try cast lead, and you may also find a heavier weight will work better.

Digital Dan is correct, it is a 22 Hornet case blown out, a few grains of Bullseye, a bit of cornmeal and fire it straight up, should iron that case out nicely. Accurate arms has data for this round, but none is subsonic. they are pushing 100 grain bullets from a low of 1369 to a high of 1815 fps. they are operating this casrtridge at pressures as high as 50,300 psi. WOW. I too would suggest that you use cast for subsonic play. A good place to begin a search for those kinds of loads may be around the silly wet killers. That is afterall where this cartridge got it's start. Don't know if you have any data at all, if you need, I'll be glad to post what is in the AA #2 manual for you.
