Anyone know how the speer sp compares to hornaday interlock Far as penatration, expansion/velocity, how the
bullet reacts when it hits game.

Im playing with loads for my 6.5x55.

I have my pet Nosler partition load for this rifle that works great already.

Sorry I have no info on the bullets you mention, just wanted to know what powder you used with your favorite load? Mine is RL22 with the 140 gr.

I don't think there is enough difference worth mentioning when it comes to expansion/velocity/accuracy.

They both have a minor controlled expansion technique but are considered soft by today's standards. Velocities should be kept modest and they will do everthing they're expected to do.

I personally think those two bullets are tougher than Ballistic tips and Game Kings but thats a whole other thread...or two.

Besides cost I see no other reason to stop using the Partitions. They are soft enough to open up at the frontal area but hold enough weight to penetrate deep. They are my choice for most of my hunting.

Mike I use R-22 also . 48gr and a 140 gr nosler

Noslers are more accurate , but I use the others more when target shooting

Both are great bullet designs, try them both, whichever shoots better in your gun is your choice.
