Any Lazz owners out there? How many reloads you typically getting? Interested in both the short and long cartridges. Anyone see the Shooting Illustrated issue where Craig Boddington got a .010 3 round group from The LZ Savage!?!?

I have 2 short Lazzeroni's...the one I've shot the most is the Hellcat based on the Patriot case blown out to .375. Here's the history on my most used batch of brass...(

(1) fire-formed using the Ken Howell method (no bullet), sized, trimmed and loaded.
(2) shot and reloaded 3 times.
(3) annealed, trimmed and loaded.
(4) shot and reloaded 4 times.
(5) annealed, trimmed and loaded.
(6) shot and reloaded 4 times.
(7) annealed, trimmed, and reloaded.

General remarks....

(1) I lost 2 pieces (out of 120)of brass during fire-forming.
(2)When I size the brass, I just size enough to bump the shoulder back 2/1000.
(3) I have not had any other instances of split necks.
(4) Primer pockets are still snug.
(5) I'm shooting full-power loads.

2% to 3% of the brass have uneven neck thickness but rather than doing any neck-turning I use these for setting up the dies, trimmer, etc plus for fouling shots at the range...these also get annealed...suprisingly, I haven't seen any practical difference in accuracy with these "culled" cases.

I like the brass as it is "hell-for-stout".

I have an 8.59 galaxy...load on the low end and probably have 7 or 8 loading in some pieces.

If you hunt with it...I suspect you'll lose a case before you wear it out.
