I'm new to reloading and bought a savage mod.11 in 7mmo8. I have bought winchester brass and nosler sbt 140gr. bullets and would like to now if anyone has a good load for this, for hunting deer. I'm also going to load 120 gr. for coyote's. Thank You

I load for 2 7mm08's and I use Varget powder, 140 gr Nosler Accubonds and Fed 210M primers. I have also had success using H4350 with the 140 gr Accubonds and Ballistic tips.

Varget or IMR4007ssc are the top 2 powder choices IMO.....

Thanks for your input. I'll use one of your suggestions and start to work it up to see what is more accurate in my rifle. killpc

I use H4350 and H414 with 150/160 gr. Noslers. I am getting 2630 and 2500 respectfully through the chrono. This is through my Browning with 20" barrel. A longer barrel would most likely give a little higher MV because I do get a bit of muzzle flash.

I have had very good results with IMR 4064 & HDy 139gr SSt's in my mountain rifle.

If you're going for speed, your fastest loads are going to be with max loads of H380, IMR4064, and Varget, for 120 gr bullets and max loads of IMR4895, IMR4064 and Varget for 140 gr bullets. At least that has been my experience after chronographing about 20 different powders.
