I've e-mailed Hodgdon twice in 4 days to no avail. Someone on the forum said they had some data provided by Hodgdon for Longshot (for the 357). Anyone have this info??

The Hodgdon 2002 "Basic Reloaders Manual" [free] has Longshot pistol data.
The Hodgdon 2003 "Anual Manual" [$8] does not.

Mike Daly of Hodgdon told me in March 2003, the change was due to a computer problem.

Anyway, Steve Ricciardelli [above poster with link] appears to have correctly transcibed the data from the 2002 publication onto his web site.

I have worked up loads with LONGSHOT for pistol calibers that have no published data. Although it is very impressive, it cannot find a niche in my act. Power Pistol, 800X, H110, and LIL'GUN displace all other pistol powders in my results for top velocity.

Longshot is like 3N37, it appears to be top dog if one only reads the load books, but do the work ups and it does not STAY on top.

Paul , give Hodgdon a call at the number listed below.

I found this on the Hodgdon site. It might be the reason why you are having problems contacting them.
