When switching similiar burning (stick)
rate powders where the new powder uses 
very close to the same charge weight for 
the same velocity, would you expect the 
same degree of relative accuracy? 


1/2 MOA at 410 yards is good enough for me to consider the possibility that the concept will wrk this time. A good morning at the range.

As much as I believe any democrat would "lower" Taxes - No. It is possible it could happen, but the odds of probability are against it.

It all has to do with the Harmonic Nodes in the Barrel, which I feel sure you know. Even different Lots of the exact same Powder occasionally need a bit of re-adjustment.

The two powders will not necessarily burn at the same rate under various pressures, either.

For what it is worth I have loaded some test rounds and will post results. I am also in the dubvious group on this. I agree the harmonics will be the deciding factor, as bore friction burning a different powder and the affects of a different pressure curve which of course bends the metal the best.

Not bad shootin', I take it is an AR in 223,IMI brass, 77 Sierra MK, and the twist-7 inch???? Now you can see what the "x-spurts" opinions are worth- squat.

Actually the original load was developed in a fashion after the Late Great Mr Audette's method.
