How many rounds do you go through on an average shooting outing?

If I'm shooting handuns, usually about 150-200

Centerfire bolt action rifle, around 40-60.

AR-15, maybe 100-200

22rimfire usually 100 or so.

Lately I've only been shooting about once a month. When I shoot more frequently, I shoot a little less per session. Normally I only take one or two weapons to the range on a given day.

I tend to go shooting with a few guys that I used to shoot compitition with. So normally we shoot 400 to 600 rounds, each.
It's nice to go to an outdoor range where you can soot for four to six hours straight.
As a general rule we head out with 9 of my handguns and a couple rifels. Hugh brings 4 handguns and a couple rifels, and the third guy(depenting on the day) brings along 4 handguns and around 4 rifles.
All and all, we have fun.

I'm not sure if my time at the range is average. Most of the time(average) is spent shooting strings of reloaded ammo looking for "the one" combination that works the best. So my sessions are around 30-40 shells.
