I´m planing to load one of the two bullets for my 308 win. I´m going to use the load on moose, deer, hogs and maybe some plains game. With the exception of the plains game, all shoots are normally within 200 yard.

I'm with you in using a single bullet in a gun instead of different bullets for different game.

For the 308 I'd likely choose the 165 grain bullet but the 180 will work about as well.

Try both and see what your gun prefers. I've not read many positive reports (or any at all for that matter) on the Scirocco II so be sure to give us a report on your findings.

The only problem w/ the 180 swift is the length is going to kill your powder capacity on the 308.

Even w/ the 165 SSs you'l probably have compressed loads w/ many of the optimum powders in that cart but, they'll work. May not be speed demons.

Good Luck

165. 180 is too long.

I've killed 2 BBs with the Scirocco II and couldn't be happier. Excellent bullet. Blew through both shoulder. One shot was 9 yards, the other was 66.
