Just had my pet 70 featherweight reamed out to the '06 AI and have so far been unable to locate load data for the XLC 180g bullet I like so much. Some experimentation got me some loose primer pockets--any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Just curious what loads got you loose primer pockets--I'll run them past quickload for you.--I always like to look at these low friction bullets to see what they do in real life.
Boy if you could run it that would be great. Haven't shelled out the $150 yet for the program. What I did was increase the max 30.06 AI load to adjust for the reduced friction of the XLC in the same proportion as the increase of conventional '06 max. loads to those published by Barnes for the '06XLC. I ended up going with 62, 63 and 64 grains AA3100, Barnes 180g XLC boattail OAL 3.25 (.005 off lands.) No noticeable extraction problems but the new chamber is tight with used brass anyway. Let me know what the computer thinks of the top load. Chrony's in the mail or I'd give you velocities. Any help would be appreciated.
