FYI!!! Just got through loading for the resently aquired Stevens Mod.200 7mm. Rem. Mag.The throating depth only allowed these OALS.

139gr Flat Point, =3.115"

150gr, psp Speer, =3.230"

154gr Spire ??? =3.285"

FrownerThe bases of the 150gr. and 154gr. bullets had to be pushed in all the way to the shoulder body junction. Confused

I guess I'll always have a problem with this type cartridge designing. shockerroger

Hey Bartsche, Are you sure Speer is making a 150gr 0.284" Bullet?

I've been using both the 145gr Hot-Cor and the BTSP, but had no idea Speer made a 150gr in 7mm. Perhaps I need to get out more and see what's on the shelves.

Yes, the 7mmRemMag is indeed an excellently Designed cartridge. Wink

I got a whole bunch of these marked Speer a few years back ,I think from Mid Way. They're in my own plastic boxes now so I realy can't trace the validity of what I posted. They appear in no Speer catologe I have. What can I say homerroger

They also make a 145gr Match Bullet and the 145gr Grand Slam - that I'm aware of.

You just never know what the Bullet makers are going to provide for someone else. I can see them making a special run of 150gr 7mms, it is just that I've never had any.

How well do they shoot?
