Federal primer production tends to be going to Government contracts which reduces the number they can make for the consumer. I imagine if enough people who usually use Federal are having a hard time finding them, they'll go to another brand. All in all, it makes for less availability for everyone. I don't know what type of Government contract work the others have but if they do, it again reduces availability to the reloader.

I usually use CCI but cant find any in standard large rifle so I just bought 1000 Federals. The store had a bunch, only thing was they were 39.99 a thousand

The place I pick up my primers usually has just about any primer you would want. Just ask him and it will be in about 3 8 business days fallowing that week your in.
I just lucky where I buy, but there are other places I cannot order from though him. Frowner

I think as this year goes on, and more bills are being pressed by his minions and indirectly by him, we will see more of this hording. Or worse.... stir You can never predict what this guys will mix up next... Be careful extremists are in office again! But when are they not :P

I dont see the problem with us owning guns. Gun laws only affect the law abiding people. I dont care if your gay and want to marry one that has nothing to do with me. and I understand both sides why to and not to have a abortions.

People wonder why I m independent. Because I be leave what I want not what a party tells me.
