The Barnes TSX is a realtively new bullet. I have the latest Barnes reloading manual and it lists no loads for the TSX bullets. You might try contacting Barnes directly for loading data. R Flowers

FYI--I have the blue manual. In the preface the guy says he loves 77.5 re 22 under the 165 xbt. I just started playing with the win mag and after cross referencing alot of manuals that is the load i will start with and the 168 tsx. Here's what the manual picks as max accuracy loads....again with the regular x's but these loads seem right up there with the other manuals and my Qucik load program. For some reason data is alot more consistant here than other manuals. 165 xbt accuracy loads MAX 76 re 19 78 h4831 78 mrp 72 i4350 for the 180.... 70 h4350 77 mrp they also show a max load of 75.5 of re 22 but do not list it as an accuracy loads and I can't tell you how many post's I've seen where people have sworn by 75-76 or re22!

No. Barnes manual is not like Sierra or Nosler. 165 XFB for RL22--start is 73.0, max is 78.0 180 XFB for RL22--start is 70.5, max is 75.5 If you're into speed, IMR4831 is tops for both weights in the listed 24" barrel. Remember, like regular X bullets, TSX bullets should be seated ~.050" off the lands. They need a jump before engaging the rifling. Good luck!
