So I'm at a dog event and find a relaoder that wants to get rid of a couple of pounds of Superperformamce. I reload for 243 but not for 223 or 30 WSM. Anyone have experience reloading this powder in other calibers??

Never used it myself, but have a friend that loads it in 7mm Mag. Loves it!

There is very little published load data for Superformance. I wrote to Hodgdons requesting load data and got no reply.

What is available on their site is for overbore small caliber cartridges.

Dulltool17, where did your friend find his 7mm Mag. load data?

I used it in a 243 with 85 grain TSX bullets. I want to say they were 3300 fps.

I have had good luck with Superformance in
My Vanguard 270 Winchester. I was using
140 gr Accubonds and got 3070 fps. It
worked well with 130 gr. Did not have any
luck with 150 gr Partitions.

It's not the cleanest burning--I have carbon stalactites on the brake after shooting a match, but it seems to be accurate, gives good speed, and seems relatively temperature insensitive. I use it in a 7mm WSSM (similar to 7-08) with heavies. This summer I'll probably try it in a 243AI and see how fast I can push some light tips towards some prairie dogs.

It performed well enough in my 22-250 and 25 WSSM, but it burned very dirty.

I have a 300 Saum and have made up a load using the 130 Barnes. It is a very accurate load and I'm hoping to try it on black bears this year.
