I know this has absolutely nothing to do with reloading but, I need info. A vet friend of mine gave me a single shot break open shotgun 12GA. he bought in Vietnam from a LOCAL. He took it out on patrol over his shoulder and had a AK round hit the barrel infront of the action. Bad memories for him since the barrel kept the round from his head. It's marked,"King Nitro" St. Louis Mo. 812. Any help would be appreciated, makes a good club. Thanks! My buddy would appreciate it, it saved his life! Just for info for him. Thanks!

It is probably a Savage/Stevens Model 15...manufactured for a private label.
