Morning Guys: Need some help w/ a load for 7 Mag shooting Barnes 120 gr. TTSX. I rarely red line anything, so a moderate load is fine. Let me know what works for you. Thanks for your help. Bob

Assuming you mean the 7mm Rem Mag, here's Barnes' data from their website: http://www.barnesbullets.com/w...ingtonMagnumWeb1.pdf Regarding a moderate load, you may find that you need something faster. In my 06, 168 TSXs group dramatically better with a maximum load. On the other hand, a middle of the road load works best in my .375H&H. Just a grain or 2 different can make a dramatic difference in group size. LWD

I spoke too one of their ballistics techs a couple of weeks back about 160 TSX 7mm the load info I got won't help with yours but he instructed me to hold bullets 60-70 thousands off the lands and insured me it was IMPORTANT to do so !. Slip jump pressure curve came up in the conversation . Nice guy and Knew his facts !.

Thanks Doc. I haven't spoken to a Barnes' tech, but those of other manufacturers with whom I've had experience seem very knowledgeable and eager to assist. Best, Bob
