Where to get Reloader 25?

I've had a hard time finding a store that carries RL25 here in Oregon (Corvallis area local gunshops, Bi-Mart, GI-Joes, one Portland gunshop). The chain stores say it is not a regular item in inventory so they won't special order it.

For those that have RL25, where did you buy it from?

Thanks,

David

You can get it on line from Powder Valley, Inc.

That's really unusual. There's nothing special about RL25. Around here, anyone that sells reloading supplies and smokeless powder will have RL25.

You can get it on-line, but it really is not all that uncommon. I am in Moscow, Idaho and there are only 3 small places to buy powder from and all of them carry RL25.

Be really careful working up loads for R 25. I have found that Rel 25 (right now) seems to be about as fast as Rel 22.

When Rel 25 first came out, I could use 81 gr and a 180 gr bullet in my 300 Win. Now I use 74 gr of Rel 25 and 73 gr of Rel 22 to achieve the same velocity.

So start way under the Rel 25 loads and work up from there.
