I've been using a DPS II for about 3yrs, upgraded it to a DPS III last year, works great, dispenses much faster and easier to clean than the DPS II, paid less than $200 shipped plus the $21 upgrade kit. One of the complaints is the warm up time, Lyman says it's ok to just leave it on all the time, mine's been on the better part of 2yrs now, works fine. Both the Lyman and the RCBS have issues with stick powders not always being dispensed right, will over fill, the DPS has a reducer bushing that solves the issue, but it also slows it down. I just set it to dispense .1gr less, then trickle if necessary, works for me. thumb

The 6mmbr review was on the DPS II, the DPS III is much faster and real easy to clean.

Hi!
I'm just about to buy an auto-powder dispenser myself, and nearly bought the DPS3 because a local store sells them. Then, I read the comparison review (on 6mmbr) at this link:

After reading the article, I decided to buy the RCBS instead (I'll be ordering it online in a few weeks) - the review seems to indicate that the RCBS unit is faster, more accurate, easier to clean, and has a better warranty than the Lyman. Looks like a no-brainer to me... even if the RCBS costs a few dollars more.

I'd check out the new Pact too, it costs less than either the Lyman or RCBS and is made in the US, both the Lyman and RCBS are made in China. If I were buying now, I'd give it serious consideration.
